Slavětice is one of the most celebrated Moravian moldavite localities, situated in the Třebíč District of the Czech Republic. Excavated specimens from this site are particularly prized — protected from surface weathering, they retain a vivid emerald-green color and sharp lechatelierite inclusions that are rarely seen in field-collected pieces. The rotated egg form is a classic Moravian tektite morphology, shaped by aerodynamic forces during atmospheric flight following the Ries impact event 14.8 million years ago.

This excavated specimen was personally found at Slavětice by the finder. Weighing 4.01 grams, it displays a stunning emerald-green color — exceptionally vivid for a Moravian moldavite — with clearly visible and tactile lechatelierite grains across the surface.
