Slavětice is one of the most celebrated Czech moldavite localities, situated in the Třebíč District of the Czech Republic. The locality is renowned for producing the characteristic “hedgehog” specimens and rare morphological forms that document the aerodynamic shaping of tektites during the Ries impact event 14.8 million years ago.
This specimen is documented from the Slavětice locality. At 2.45 grams, it presents a natural heart shape — a rare and visually striking form produced entirely by aerodynamic forces during the tektite’s flight. The moldavite displays a warm honey color. A few minor glossy worn patches are present on the edge — natural field wear that does not affect the overall collector impression. Dimensions: 23.0 × 23.0 × 6.0 mm. Exact moldavite shown. Signed Certificate of Authenticity included.
