Skryje is a Czech moldavite locality situated in the Třebíč District of the Czech Republic. Specimens from this site are known for their distinctive coloration and well-preserved surface texture, each carrying full field provenance as a direct record of the Ries impact event 14.8 million years ago.
This specimen is documented from the Skryje locality. At 5.75 grams, it presents a complete egg form with an open bubble — a rare structural feature formed by gas trapped within the molten glass at the moment of the tektite’s creation. The moldavite is undamaged and displays a warm brown color. Dimensions: 21.0 × 15.9 × 16.32 mm. Exact moldavite shown. Signed Certificate of Authenticity included.
