An 8.86g hollow moldavite from Olešnice with an open bubble — and a rare practical feature: it stands upright on its own.
The hollow form with a naturally opened bubble in the upper section is a direct record of the moldavite’s formation — gas trapped during the rapid cooling of molten material 14.6 million years ago, now exposed at the surface. The matte to velvety finish with subtle glossy areas gives the moldavite a restrained, tactile quality.
Olive green color. And the detail that makes this piece genuinely useful for display: it stands independently upright on both edges, without a stand or support.
