Slavětice is one of the most celebrated Czech moldavite localities, situated in the Třebíč District of the Czech Republic. Specimens from this site are prized for their warm honey coloration, characteristic hedgehog-style surface sculpture, and well-documented provenance. The locality has yielded some of the finest Czech tektites known to collectors worldwide — each piece a direct record of the Ries impact event 14.8 million years ago.
This specimen is documented from the Slavětice locality. At 4.83 grams, it displays a warm honey color with natural surface texture. Several glossy worn patches are present — surface abrasion typical of field-collected specimens, caused by natural soil contact over millennia. These marks do not affect the overall collector value or visual impression of the moldavite. Dimensions: 28.4 × 17.9 × 9.2 mm. Exact moldavite shown. Signed Certificate of Authenticity included.
