Slavětice is one of the most celebrated Czech moldavite localities, situated in the Třebíč District of the Czech Republic. The locality is renowned for producing the characteristic “hedgehog” specimens — pieces with deeply sculpted, spiky surface texture that is the hallmark of Czech tektites. Each specimen is a direct record of the Ries impact event 14.8 million years ago.
This specimen is documented from the Slavětice locality. At 3.58 grams, it is a fine example of the classic Slavětice hedgehog — displaying a warm honey color with deeply sculpted surface texture. No damage. Dimensions: 25.16 × 14.9 × 9.5 mm. Nalezishtové foto and video available. Exact moldavite shown. Signed Certificate of Authenticity included.
