An Angel Chime moldavite from Olešnice — an uncommon thin form.
Angel Chime moldavites are among the most unusual specimens a collector can acquire. This exceptionally thin, hollow piece produces a clear, resonant tone when lightly tapped — a property so rare it has its own name among Czech collectors.
The plate-like structure carries sharp radial sculpture spreading from the center toward the edges. Natural translucency reveals light to golden-green tones, contrasting with the darker sculpted edges and pointed formations. The specimen stands independently on three natural contact points.
This thin specimen is fragile and needs careful handling. Olešnice is a well-documented Czech locality known for producing moldavites with exceptional sculptural variety.
